Longe da multidão

"Dawn. The redwoods are cold, vaporous and dripping. We are on the banks of an isolated Northern California steelhead stream shortly after one of the first rains of winter and the black-green pools mirror the great canopy of the forest, almost imploring you to wade in and fish. In the half-light, the canyon resembles a Japanese woodcut of bank willows and river mist. The fishing is a little Zen-like, too: more fishing than fish, it would seem."
